Ringjord has carried out a major automation assignment for Remiks, where we have been involved all the way from project planning to handover of the finished plant. The solution delivered includes everything from system design, engineering and planning, to installation of presses, high-current systems, control and automation systems, switchboards, installation and training. The job was completed in January 2020, on time and the feedback from the customer is very good.
The new solution halves energy costs and doubles the capacity of the facility. In fact, it is not uncommon for investments in modern automation and electrical systems to pay for themselves within a few years in the form of energy savings and more efficient operation.
