Ringjord Elektro is looking for an experienced marine electronics technician who enjoys taking on responsibility and a working day where everything has to run smoothly. You will be joining a company with a long-standing tradition, solid technical expertise and a focus on quality and safety.

Work tasks

You’ll be given a variety of tasks relating to the operation and maintenance of on-board electronic systems. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, problem-solving and keeping technical systems in good working order.

The work will consist of, among other things:

  • Inspection, maintenance and repair of electronic systems and components
  • Ensure that equipment and installations comply with applicable requirements and regulations
  • Troubleshooting and handling of deviations
  • Collaborate with technical staff on upgrades and modernisation
  • Accurate documentation of work performed

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have:

  • Trade licences and certificates
  • Knowledge of the installation and maintenance of navigation equipment and electronics on vessels
  • Ability to work independently and structured
  • Practical approach and good problem-solving skills
  • Good communication and collaboration skills

Qualifications:

  • Relevant vocational certificate
  • Completed apprenticeship in a company
  • Experience from service and project work is an advantage
  • Class B driving licence
